Sources and how to read this
    • Capacities, efficiencies, acoustics, dimensions and pipework limits are transcribed from the European catalogue page for each model - except the Economy-range pairings added from the UK price guide (see Economy range below).
    • Where a printed source and the Design Simulator European database disagree, the database figure is the one shown, and the system's card lists what moved. Sound pressure and airflow are not reconciled: the database holds high and low fan speed where the catalogue prints cooling and heating at four speeds, so the two are not the same measurement.
    • Minimum pipe length, pre-charge in kilograms and the additional charge rate come from the Design Simulator European database (Mlt_EU.mdb, tables M_Outdoor and M_Indoor).
    • The 56 outdoor units and 74 indoor units of the original guide matched the European database exactly, with nothing interpolated or estimated. Added since: the Economy-range pairings (figures as printed in the price guide, pipe limits checked against the database; outdoor sound, airflow and electrical detail not printed there, so left out) and the multi-split KMTGL indoor units (not in the multi database). Webstore-derived list prices are calculated (webstore price / 0.62), not printed.
    • Unit pictures on the printed sheet come from the GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK webstore, which carries a photograph of the specific model number — so an AOEG54KBTB shows the twin-fan chassis it actually is rather than a small single-fan unit standing in for the whole series. The 2026 European catalogue renders fill the gaps where the store does not stock a model (the KJ designer series, the cooling-enhanced ECO, most of the ARXH medium ducts and several outdoor units), and a model the store does not list borrows the picture of its nearest sibling in the same series — never across series. Every indoor and outdoor model in the guide has one except the Economy outdoor units AOEG09KATA and AOEG12KATA, whose 541 × 663 casing no pictured unit in the series shares; AOEG14KATA and AOEG54KATA / KQTA show the same-casing 18 / 45 model. On a multi-split and a simultaneous multi the outdoor unit is pictured together with each indoor unit selected, at the same size, with repeats counted rather than repeated. They are illustrations, not dimensioned drawings.
    • System codes — every system carries a short reference: S- for a single split, M- for a multi-split, SM- for a simultaneous multi, then four characters. On a multi-split those four characters name the outdoor unit only, so once the indoor units are chosen the selection is written on the end of the code — M-DZYD is the outdoor unit on its own, M-DZYD-5210506HQ is the same outdoor unit with the ports filled in. Typing the longer code back rebuilds the selection exactly, ports not in use included. The last two characters are a check on the indoor models the code resolves to: if the line-up for that outdoor unit ever changes, the code is refused with a note rather than quietly decoding to different equipment. Quote it on a job sheet and type it back into the search box to return to the same system; a whole code jumps straight to it whichever tab you are on. The four characters are derived from the model numbers themselves rather than from a position in a list, so adding or removing systems never renumbers anything and a code written months ago still resolves to the same pairing. The alphabet leaves out I, L, O and U so no character can be misread; a typed I or L is read as 1 and O as 0, and case and punctuation are ignored.
    • Series status — GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK marketing bulletin 197 (3 March 2026) sets out the streamlined UK wall-mount range as KN Eco+, KL, KM and KH, and lists the KL 2.5–3.4 kW (KLTA) and the KG range (KGTG) as discontinued. Bulletin 196 (4 March 2026) announces updated 18–24 KL and KM units — KLCBL and KMTGL — with a changed indoor-to-outdoor communication language, a new infra-red controller on the KL and a built-in Wi-Fi receiver on both. Systems affected carry a badge and a note on the card and on the printed sheet.
    • Range names — Economy Plus, Economy, Standard, Soft Black Standard, High Spec and so on — are taken from the GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK 2026/27 price guide, matched to the exact indoor and outdoor pairing it prints. On cassettes, ducts and ceiling units the range is set by the outdoor unit (AOEG..KATA is Economy, AOEG..KBTB is Standard), not by the indoor. Series the UK guide does not carry take the 2026 European catalogue's own name (Designer for the KJ series, High-Efficiency & Comfort for the ARXH ducts). A system with no badge is one neither source names.
    • Prices — list prices in GBP from the GENERAL HVAC Solutions UK Product Price Guide 26/27 (April 2026), VRF excluded, updated to the GENERAL GBP price list of 12 August 2026 (Design Simulator price file). Where the two differ the August list is used: UTY-VTGX £646, UTY-VKSX £379, UTY-VMSX £328, UTY-RCRYZ1 £150, UTY-RHRYZ1 £193, UTY-RSRYZ1 £195, UTD-LFNB £92, UTZ-VXRA £519, AOEG54KRTA £2,796 and ARXG14KLLAP £905, and the KLTA wall pairings; UTG-UKYA-B (£266), UTD-LFDB and UTD-LFDC (£89) are now priced, and webstore-derived prices the August list confirms are no longer marked as webstore. A single split is priced as the guide prints it: indoor unit, outdoor unit and any parts the guide lists inside that system price (for example UTY-RNRYZ6, or a duct's filter and spigot), each at its own printed price. On the options page those parts are ticked and can be unticked; the total then drops by that part's price. Nine pairings print a system price that differs from the sum of their parts - the list shows the difference as its own line. Multi-split and simultaneous multi outdoor and indoor units are priced separately. Anything the guide does not print is priced from the GENERAL UK webstore trade price divided by 0.62 (the webstore is list less 38%; 150 of 159 items that are in both agree to the penny) and is marked webstore price. What neither source prices shows POA. The switch at the top moves every price on the page, and the printed list, to a percentage off list.
    • Economy range — the 27 Economy-range cassette and duct pairings on the AOEG..KATA / KQTA outdoor units come from the price guide's own spec tables (pp.008, 010, 012, 016), with pipe limits checked against the Design Simulator European database.
    • Options & price list — the parts offered for each indoor unit are the Design Simulator's option and controller lists for that model in that kind of system (M_OPtionCntrl, M_RCTypeCntrl), priced from the price guide's accessory pages. Required parts are added from M_IndrItemCntrl and M_Option_AutoSelect, and from the price guide's "requires" notes. Conflicts follow the Design Simulator's own options checks (read from its program, NewVRF.exe) and tables, the manufacturer documents, and the approved-combination rule for controllers: one device on the indoor unit's UART port (Wi-Fi adapter, Modbus / KNX converter, Intesis FG-AC interface, external I/O PCB - also on the cassette optional-parts sheets on the GENERAL webstore); no 2-wire with 3-wire controllers (message 610); two wired controllers on one unit only as two of the same model (dual remote control); UTY-RCRYZ1, UTY-RVRY and the UTY-TFNXZ1 Wi-Fi adapter alone on the wired line (message 1495); one FJ-RC-WIFI interface (message 1496); one IR receiver (message 2450); up to 2 wired controllers and wired options on a 3-wire line, 4 on a 2-wire line (message 1863); two remote controllers per indoor unit, wired or wireless (RC1 / RC2); one network convertor per unit; and controllers the Design Simulator will not connect to a model (M_RCNoCnctType) left out. A wired and a wireless controller together is allowed, as the Design Simulator does on AUXG18KRLB.
    • Multi-split KMTGL — ASEH18KMTGL and ASEH24KMTGL are priced as multi-split indoor units but are not in the Design Simulator multi database; they are offered where the KMTE units they replace are, and marked for confirmation. ASYG22KMTB is priced too, but the database excludes it from every AOEG multi outdoor unit, so it is not offered.
    • Capacities are nominal catalogue ratings at standard conditions, not site duties. Confirm the combination and the final refrigerant charge against the installation manual before ordering.
